Risa, Koko kikilos na para maumpisahan agad ang VP Sara impeachment trial

INANUNSYO ni Deputy Minority Leader Sen. Risa Hontiveros na hihilingin niya ngayon araw, June 9, na simulan na ang impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ayon sa kanya, magmo-mosyon siya na makapanumpa na si Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero bilang presiding officer ng impeachment court.
Kasunod nito ay panunumpain naman sila ni Escudero bilang tatayong hukom sa impeachment court.

Bukod dito, magmo-mosyon din si Hontiveros na mabuo na ang Senado bilang impeachment court at mabasa ang Articles of Impeachment na nagmula sa Kamara.
Sinabi rin ni Hontiveros na ang kanyang mga gagawin ay suportado ni Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
Gagawin ng senadora ang mga mosyon sa pagpapatuloy ng sesyon ngayon alas-3 ng hapon.
