‘Renoir’ ni Sylvia Sanchez binigyan ng standing ovation sa 78th Cannes filmfest

BINIGYAN ng standing ovation ang Japanese film na “Renoir” na ipinrodyus nina Sylvia Sanchez at Alemberg Ang sa ginaganap ngayong 78th Cannes Film Festival sa France.
Ang “Renoir” ay idinirek ni Chie Hayakawa na isa nga sa masusuwerteng napili bilang bahagi ng main competition para sa Palme d’Or sa 78th Cannes Film Festival ngayong 2025.
Kasama nina Sylvia at Alemberg bilang co-producer ng pelikula sina Eiko Mizuno Gray, Jason Gray, Christophe Bruncher at Yulia Evina Bhara. Nakipag-sanib pwersa ang Nathan Studios sa iba’t ibang production companies mula sa Japan, France, Singapore, at Indonesia para sa “Renoir.”
Siyempre, super proud ang award-winning actress at Nathan Studios producer na si Sylvia sa napakainit na pagtanggap ng manonood sa Cannes ngayong taon sa kanilang entry.
Sa kanyang Facebook page, nagbahagi ng madamdaming mensahe si Sylvia kalakip ang mga litrato nila sa red carpet ng Cannes Film Festival kung saan nakasama rin niya ang asawang si Art Atayde.
Maituturing ngang isang Pinoy pride moment ang pagrampa roon ni Sylvia as movie producer with her modern black terno OOTD.

Ang “Renoir” ay isang coming-of-age drama na pinagbibidahan ni Yui Suzuki na nakasama rin ng grupo nina Sylvia sa red carpet ng 2025 Cannes filmfest. Ang iba pang members ng cast ay sina Lily Franky, Hikari Ishida, Ayumu Nakajima, Yuumi Kawai at Ryota Bando.
Napakaraming movie critic ang pumuri sa “Renoir” after ng screening nito sa Cannes kaya naman abot-langit ang tuwa at pasasalamat nina Sylvia at Papa Art.
Ayon sa Hollywood Reporter, “Part of the reason ‘Renoir,’ despite its modesty, hits emotionally is because of Suzuki’s compelling performance. The newcomer has a wide-eyed, penetrating stare that at once communicates the reality of Fuki’s innocence and the depth of her curiosity.
“In the actress’ hands, the character becomes someone you come to feel deeply protective of. When Fuki decides to meet the young man she’s been talking to on the telephone in real life, an anxious tension creeps into ‘Renoir’ as you start to spiral about all the ways that interaction could go wrong.”
