Ngayon, three days na lang muli na naman nating bibigyang-pugay ang ating mga ina, nanay, mommy, mama, mudra at kung anu-ano pang espesyal na tawag natin sa kanila.
At bilang bahagi ng taun-taon nating pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Mga Ina, natanong ng BANDERA ang aktres at first-time celebrity mom na si Ria Atayde kung anu-anong qualities ang namana niya sa kanyang nanay.
In fairness, kilalang napakabuti, mapagbigay at super supportive na ina si Sylvia sa kanyang mga anak kaya naman napalaki niyang mabubuti at marespeto ang mga ito.
Question namin sa wifey ng seasoned actor na si Zanjoe Marudo, anu-anong ugali ni Ibyang (palayaw ni Sylvia) ang namana o nakuha niya.
Sagot ni Ria, “Siguro yung willingness to give everything you can, like energy and time, all of that, I think that’s what I got sa nanay ko.
“And maybe yung pagiging…grabe kasi siyang mag-worry. Pero medyo siya yung mas praning,” ang natatawang pahayag ng Kapamilya actress.

Ngayong nanay na rin siya, mas naiintindihan na niya ngayon ang ugali ng mga ina at mas bumilib pa siya sa mga ito dahil napatunayan niya kung gaano kahirap ang maging hands-on mom.
Ano naman ang mensahe niya sa lahat ng mother all over the universe?
“O, wow! You know I used to be very grateful to all mothers because the work and effort they put in for us children but now I’m a mother myself, I now understand how difficult it is to give up the autonomy of yourself.
“So, I hope in your day to day you’ll be able to find support, find time to breath, and find time for yourself so you would not lose yourself and enjoy motherhood,” pahayag pa ni Ria na enjoy na enjoy sa pag-aalaga kay Baby Sabino.
