Ruru Madrid binago ng ‘Green Bones’, habang buhay magpapasalamat

LABIS ang pasasalamat ng Kapuso actor na si Ruru Madrid sa pagiging bahagi ng pelikulang “Green Bones”.

Sa kanyang Instagram page ay ibinandera niya na nabago ng pelikula ang kanyang buhay.

“Isang pelikula na habang-buhay kong ipagpapasalamat-at ipagmamalaki ko kahit kanino,” panimula ni Ruru.

Kasunod nito ang kanyang pag-announce na mapapanood na ang kanilang pelikula sa online streaming platform na Netflix.

Marami ring natutunang aral si Ruru sa pelikula na habang buhay niyang babaunin.

“This film didn’t just challenge me… it changed me,” saad pa ng aktor.

Nais rin ni Ruru na marami pa ang makapanood ng pelikula at matuto ng leksyon sa buhay gaya niya.

“Para sa sining. Para sa bansa. At para sa ating lahat na pinipili pa ring maging mabuti sa mundong ito,” lahad niya.

Dagdag pa ni Ruru, “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta—ngayon pa lang, ramdam ko na kayo.”

Ang Green Bones ay isa sa 2024 Metro Manila Fil Festival entry produced by GMA Pictures.

Ito ay pinagbibidahan nina Dennis Trillo at Ruru Madrid directed by Zig Dulay at hangi sa orihinal na istorya ni JC Rubio, senior documentary manager ng GMA Public Affairs.

Isa rin ang pelikula sa mga humakot ng mga awards sa nagdaang 2024 Gabi ng Parangal.

Nagwagi ito bilang

Best Picture, Best Screenplay, (Ricky Lee at Angeli Atienza), Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), at Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens).
