Shamcey matapos ang halalan: Proving that heart still have a place in public service

HINDI man pinalad sa pagkakapanalo bilang konsehal ng Pasig, nananatiling matatag at positibo si Shamcey Supsup-Lee.
Sa isang Instagram post, buong tapang sinabi ni Shamcey: “We have already won because we never lost who we are.”
Ayon sa kanya, hindi niya isinuko ang kanyang prinsipyo sa gitna ng matinding laban sa politika.
“In every step of this journey, we chose integrity over shortcuts, truth over convenience, and compassion over division,” sey niya sa caption.

Para sa beauty queen, mas mahalaga ang dignidad, katapatan, at puso sa paninilbihan.
kaya’t kahit hindi raw siya nanalo, tagumpay pa rin ang turing niya sa kanyang kampanya.
“We stood firm in our principles, spoke up for what we believed in, and remained grounded in purpose. This was never just about a position; it was about proving that dignity, honesty, and heart still have a place in public service,” wika niya sa post.
At syempre, hindi niya nakalimutang pasalamatan ang mga sumuporta at sumama sa kanya sa bawat hakbang ng kanyang kampanya.

Isa sa mga unang bumati sa comment section ay ang kapwa niya beauty queen na si MJ Lastimosa, na nagpahayag ng paghanga at pag-asa para sa kinabukasan ni Shamcey sa public service.
“You’ve always been a great example, a leader, and an inspiration to many,” bungad niya.
Patuloy ni MJ, “I can’t wait for the day when they finally give you the chance to lead, and for them to see what you’re truly capable of.”
“Congratulations for trying and wanting to offer your whole self to your community,” aniya pa.
Nasa ika-pitong pwesto si Shamcey sa Pasig councilor race na may 32,399 na boto.
Tumakbo siya sa grupo ni Sarah Discaya, ngunit kalaunan ay tumiwalag din siya matapos ang kontrobersyal at sexist na pahayag ni Christian “Ian” Sia, ang kanilang congressional candidate na tuluyang diniskwalipika ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
